Graham characterizes her work in terms of the post-urban condition, architectural ideas and construction and production. She outlines her experiments, and the influence of abstract painting and sculpture. She discusses a desert museum and a series of lunch shelters for the Los Angeles Unified School District. She reviews her Department of Energy proposal to utilize architectural devices for the generation of energy through photovoltaics. She discusses a project below the “D” of the Hollywood Sign. Graham describes her exploration of cartography and computer aided design. She uses computers to challenge current methodologies of making. She shows a project in which she implements these strategies to integrate land and structure, while also attempting to de-objectify architecture. She discusses the design strategies for the airport terminal in Zurich.
