John Johansen-clip_5750

Johansen outlines the next revolution in architecture after postmodernism, which he thinks will be ecological design. According to Johansen, architecture should join with larger forces to make the ecological argument clear to everybody. He believes we should employ technology, and look at nature as the model to achieve better use of our materials, and organize our cities more efficiently. This would require us to have a more open mind as to what architecture is and the accepted materials.
