After introductions by SCI-Arc directors Michael Rotondi and Neil Denari, founding director Ray Kappe discusses his body of work as a continuum. Kappe describes multiple projects, and the architectural principles that he applies to his work. He also talks about why he left Cal Poly and founded The New School, which later became SCI-Arc, and the spirit in which the school was founded.

SCI-Arc’s pedigree is showcased during the introduction of Ray Kappe.
