Introduction by:

Federick Fisher discusses
his unique practice which combines the disciplines of art and architecture. Fisher situates his works within a general art space typology of loft, house and box. Throughout the lecture, Fisher references a number of precedents, including Donald Judd’s work in Marfa, MASS MoCA, and Berlin’s Hamburger Bahnhof railroad station. Fisher’s work includes the renovations of P.S.1, the Long Beach Museum, and his design for the Eli Broad Foundation.
